A backpacker’s paradise: Hampi

The above photo was taken in during my trip to Hampi . Any guesses on which temple it is? This temple was built in Dravidian Style. It is situated in Pattadakal. It is the famous temple of Virupaksha. It was built in 8th Century. Pattadakal is a house for some of the most famous rock cut temples in India. It has been identified as one amongst the UNESCO’s Heritage Sites of the World.
