Enjoy the little things

Remember what Oscar Wilde said about Flowers?

With freedom, books, flowers and the moon who wouldn’t be happy?

It is so true. Today in Bangalore City, you hardly find the atmosphere where you find flowers blooming everywhere. The Garden City of India has silently turned into the Silicon Capital of India. The best way to start contributing to make the city green is to grow plants in your balcony. It doesn’t cost you more than 20 rupees. Use any old broken buckets/pet bottles. Fill some mud and plant few seeds of flowers. Keep it on the window sill so that, you don’t forget watering them daily. Within days, you will start seeing how the small plant grows into a fully blooming plant.

I started off with Money plant and today I am almost close to 6 plants in my balcony. I started growing tomatoes, coriander, green tulsi, Red Bird of Paradise (Ratna Gandhi flower) and also The Holy Basil (Krishna Tulsi). These little plants are much more than plants to me. They spread bliss. Make my mornings more happy.

Do you have any plants in your balcony? How are you growing them? Would love to know about your style of gardening.

Lots of love and hugs,

ARK

There is a mini garden my mom created in front of my house in hubli since we both loved greenery and gardening. I still love greenery and flowers of course. U said it right. Lot of trees being cut down in the name if urbanization is sad thing I found in Bangalore
